The Oxy Film Festival, featuring more than 20 entries, will take place in Johnson 200 on March 22 from 7 to 9 p.m.
“It provides a forum in which non-seniors can showcase their work to the community,” said Moana Casanova (junior) about the student-run festival. “Seniors may submit films they’ve done as underclassmen, but not their senior comprehensives, which will be shown at a special Senior Comps Screening on April 13.”
Rather than concentrating on students finishing up their film studies, this venue offers the up-and-coming a chance to shine.
