Thorne Patio was packed on Saturday night with cheering students, flashing lights, glow sticks and the booming music of White Panda and Brenton Duvall.webwp3_Aseem-Mangaokar.jpg

Students swarmed excitedly as White Panda took the stage. Whether people knew the duo’s music previous to the concert or not, the lyrics were sung by the majority of the audience.

“I liked how they remixed lots of really well-known songs so you could sing along,” Ellen Goldenberg (sophomore) said.

White Panda is known for their innovative mash-ups of music from all genres. Their creative sounds of the night complemented their eccentric outfits and light-up panda masks.

The environment of the concert increased the excitement and provided Occidental students with an exciting addition to the Oxy bubble.webwp1_Aseem-Mangaokar.jpg

The production was fantastic and I couldn’t have been happier with the performances of Brenton Duvall and The White Panda,” Programming Board Manager Redd Barua-Norton (senior) said.

The extravagant lights and sounds of White Panda could be heard throughout the campus. Pandemic was truly a visual and musical experience.
