I am writing in response to Sarah Flocken’s letter in last weeks edition of the Weekly. I agree with her in that red-heads can be ridiculed and discriminated against and that is a shame. I also love the idea of reclaiming the term daywalker, as I am myself one. But I have a problem with the fact that you self identify as a red-head. You DYE your hair. You are not a ginger. You, like many people wish you were a ginger but do not have such luck. I think its great you love the color and want to have it for your own, but you cannot complain about people giving you shit about your hair color when it is your choice. I know you and respect you but you are not invited to the convention.
