On behalf of Occidental Students for Barack Obama, I would like to extend a huge thank you to the over 130 students that came to our first organizational meeting of the semester! We were very excited to see so many students ready to volunteer to make a difference in one of the most important presidential races in recent history. If you missed the meeting, don’t worry! Just join our facebook group to receive notifications about our trips to Las Vegas, phone banks, voter registration drives, and other volunteer opportunities. The most important thing you can do above all is to make sure that you are registered to vote. If you are from a swing state, PLEASE do not register at Oxy! California will be going blue this year with or without your vote, so please cast it where it will count! Swing states this year include Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Virginia, Missouri, and Michigan.
