I am writing this letter in regards to something I saw written in the “Scoreboard” section of the issue published on April 1. As we all know, this was the “April Fools issue,” a lighthearted, fun and completely good-natured endeavor by your staff. With all this being said, I am deeply offended and moreover I feel personally attacked. In this “sports recap” it was implied that the brothers of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, of which I am a proud member, only play the drinking game known as “Beer Pong” and that we take it “way too seriously.” I would like to make it clear to everyone on our behalf that we also take a variety of other drinking games way too seriously as well, not just Beer Pong. We also heartily enjoy dominating at such games as: Quarters, Landmines, 7-11-doubles, Beers and Balls, Moose, drink-the-beer, Flip Cup, Drink-and-go-naked, Drink-and-please-keep-your-cloths-on and a number of other intoxicatingly fun games. I am deeply disturbed that in such a liberal atmosphere, such as the one provided by our college, a person’s reputation can be so narrowly defined.
