During my three years at Occidental, I’ve read numerous editorials concerning the professionalism and quality of the Weekly. Perhaps I’m just a jaded asshole expecting too much (which is entirely possible), but at this point, professionalism and quality don’t interest me anymore. All I’m looking for is a semblance of self-respect. Informative and/or thoughtful editorials reflect better on the paper than letters that are mean-spirited, derogatory, and contemptuous.

On another note, your sports section—its graphics included—is consistently excellent.
