I just wanted to get the word out that the Oxy Film Festival will take place on April 1, 2009, in Johnson 200. Entries can be submitted now to the SAC on DVD or Mini DV. Each entry should be labeled with the name of the film, name of the filmmaker, the film’s runtime and the student filmmaker’s e-mail address. Submissions should run 30 minutes or less.
Selections from the all those submitted will be sent to a panel of judges who will award first, second, and third prizes. All films must be written and directed by an Oxy student. We hope to get a large entry pool and show off the best of Oxy’s film department.
