You know what would be great? If people running for elected office could do a little bit of research before coming up with their platform positions. To provide an example: as a body, senate’s major concern is funding. Thus, students interested in getting more ping-pong tables for their dorms are better off running for RHA, or the Residence Hall Association. Let me reiterate: the ping-pong-table-per-dorm rate is emphatically not within senate’s purview. I hope that when the next elections occur, we can all remember this.
