Why don’t people write you letters anymore? I know it must make you feel sad and alone—sitting by the computer, day in and day out, staring at your Oxy e-mail screen, constantly clicking that inbox button, wishing, hoping, praying for some kind of connection to the outside world! I’m sure it’s nothing personal. The Oxy community doesn’t hate you. They just don’t care enough to voice their opinion, that’s all. Remember when Michael Darling sent you that really long letter? Those were the days. Or perhaps that Max Read fellow will write another sarcastic letter full of exclamation points and emoticons. Those were fun. But for now, I guess you’ll just have to continue wallowing in self pity—resorting to writing letters to yourself.
